Sophie has over 10 years of experience as a patent attorney practising in the areas of biotechnology and life sciences. She has advised a wide variety of clients ranging from first-time inventors, start-ups and SMEs to large established companies and foreign partners.
​
Sophie acts before the UKIPO, EPO and WIPO and her work includes drafting, filing and conducting the grant process of patent applications, together with matters relating to intellectual property due diligence and IP portfolio management. She focuses on providing clients with commercially relevant, pragmatic advice consistent with their business objectives. When working with early-stage companies, Sophie enjoys supporting with the alignment of their IP strategy and business plan to maximise return on investment.
